Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic

“✨ Ingredients:

6 slices of bacon, chopped 🥓
1 medium onion, diced 🧅
3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 medium head of cabbage, chopped 🥬
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for a smoky kick) 🌶️

✨ Instructions:

Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan. 🥓
In the same pan, sauté the diced onion in the bacon grease for 5 minutes until soft and golden. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. 🧄✨
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the bacon grease and onions. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage softens and caramelizes. 🥬
