– ½ teaspoon ground cloves

For the Cheesecake Filling:

– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 3 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ½ cup sour cream
– ½ cup heavy cream

For the Syrup:
– 1 cup water
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 cinnamon stick
– 1 cup honey

1. **Prepare the Baklava Layers:**
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
– In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
– Brush a baking dish with melted butter. Layer phyllo sheets in the dish, brushing each layer with butter and sprinkling with the nut mixture until you have several layers. Finish with a final layer of phyllo dough.

2. **Bake the Baklava Layers:**
– Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes.
– Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
– While the baklava is baking, prepare the cheesecake filling.

3. **Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:**
– In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
– Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
– Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream until combined.

4. **Assemble the Cheesecake:**
– Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
– Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled baklava layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.

5. **Bake the Cheesecake:**
– Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
– Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.

6. **Prepare the Syrup:**
– In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until slightly thickened.
– Remove from heat and stir in the honey until well combined.

7. **Final Touches:**
– Once the cheesecake has cooled, drizzle the prepared syrup over the top.
– Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow it to set completely.

8. **Serve and Enjoy:**
– When ready to serve, cut the baklava cheesecake into slices and garnish with additional chopped nuts if desired.
– Enjoy the delightful combination of creamy cheesecake and crunchy baklava layers, infused with the sweet aroma of honey and cinnamon.
